REGIONAL TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT (CHAPTER 29:12) NOTICE

 

Adoption of a Draft Master Plan

Notice is hereby given in terms of section 15 (2) of the Regional Town and Country Planning Act (Chapter 29:2) of the adoption by Norton Town Council of a draft Master Plan 2020-2040.  

In terms of the said section 15 (2) of the Act, the local planning authority is required to

a)   Place the draft master plan on public exhibit for a period of two months for purposes of allowing objections to or representations in connection with the draft master plan and;

b)   Give public notice of the place or places at which the draft master plan will be exhibited and the time within which objections to or representations in connection with the draft master plan will be made.

Now therefore stakeholders, residents, ratepayers and the public Take Notice that the draft Norton Town Council Master Plan will be placed on public exhibit from the 26/03/2020 to 26/05/2020. The Master Plan documents, maps and diagrams will be open for inspection at the Office of the Town Planner, Norton Nharira Engineering Office during normal office hours over the period of public exhibition.

Accordingly any person with any objections or representations in connection with this draft Master Plan must lodge them with the following listed offices within the period of public exhibition.
